Treat it well and it will hold its shape, its color, and its grip for years. A few small habits go a long way — and protect your eligibility for damage claims.

Step 01
Washing
Hand washing is always recommended. Wash in cold water with a small amount of mild, fragrance-free detergent. Never twist or wring the fabric — gently press water out by rolling the band in a clean, dry towel, then lay flat.
If you must machine wash, place your wonderband inside a mesh laundry bag for delicates and use a cold, gentle cycle only. Never wash with cotton towels, heavy fabrics, or items with zippers, hooks, or velcro — these snag and permanently damage the fabric.
Step 02
Drying
Air dry only. Lay flat or hang at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
Never put your wonderband in the dryer. High heat permanently warps the shape, degrades the elastic and Lycra, and can melt non-slip grip linings. Do not iron or steam.
Step 03
What to avoid
Fabric softeners coat performance fibers and permanently destroy moisture-wicking properties — they cannot be reversed.
Step 04
Restoring non-slip grip
If your wonderband has a velvet or silicone grip lining and starts to slip, the cause is almost always a buildup of hair oils, dry shampoo, or sweat — not a defect.
- 01Soak in warm (not hot) water with one small drop of dish soap.
- 02Gently rub the grip area between your fingers to break down buildup.
- 03Rinse thoroughly under cool running water.
- 04Lay flat to air dry completely before wearing again.
Step 05
Storage
Store flat or loosely rolled — never folded tightly or compressed under heavy items. Pressure distorts the shape and stretch of the band over time. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Damage resulting from improper care — including heat damage, chemical damage, snags from improper washing, or deterioration from fabric softeners or bleach — is not covered under our damage claim policy and does not qualify for a refund or replacement.
